In preparation for the 2025 Legislative Session, United Way representatives from around the state will convene in Tallahassee for an exciting two-day advocacy event to hear updates on Priority United Way Issues, learn from policymakers and experts about the upcoming session, and encourage their legislators to support the 2025 Florida United Ways Consensus Legislative Agenda. 

Day one, February 18, will also include a UWOF Board & CEO Meeting.  See below for more info, registration link and hotel reservation links.

  • 11:00 - 3:00 PM  |  UWOF Board of Governors & CEO Meeting and Lunch (for Board members & CEOs only)
  •  5:30 - 7:00 PM  |  Capitol Days Legislative Reception & Cocktails (for all registrants and invited legislators)

Preparing for Capitol Days/Meetings with your Legislators

Advance Informational Package

All registrants will be sent a Capitol Days Advance Packet to help you prep for your trip to Tallahassee, which includes successful tips and guidance for scheduling and meeting with your legislators, talking points, templates and more. Registrants will also receive a Capitol Days Reception invitation for local United Ways to use to invite their legislators to join us at the Tuesday evening reception.

Schedule Your Legislative Visits

Advocates are responsible for scheduling their own visits with their legislators on February 19.  Click on the links below and input your address to:
